Level II
For students with some experience in Iyengar yoga (one year recommended). Classes will include Adho Mukha Vrksasana (full arm balance) and Sirsasana (headstand). Students must regularly practice Salamba Sarvangasana (shoulderstand) and have a basic understanding of Level I postures. Students must have a basic familiarity with the props. Special needs can be accommodated.

For students with substantial Iyengar Yoga training who are strong in standing postures, can do Sirsasana with confidence for five minutes, and can push up into Urdhva Dhanurasana. Sirsasana variations, intermediate postures, and seated pranayama are taught. Independent practice should be well established. Students should have a basic understanding of modifications suitable for individual injuries and conditions including proper practice for menstruation.

For students who want a more gentle practice or who need individual attention to work with a medical condition or injury.

The Iyengar approach to yoga for pregnancy is a safe, effective, and empowering experience for women in any stage of pregnancy. Gain strength, confidence, awareness, and freedom in your practice and in your body as you prepare for the challenges and joys of childbirth and parenthood. Learn more about our Prenatal classes.
Private Instruction
& Special Needs
For students who need individual attention or who would like to learn to apply yoga to help aid in recovery from a medical condition. During the course of a private you will have the opportunity to speak in depth about your condition, ask questions, and together we will develop a sequence that you can practice at home. Sessions are 1 hour long although the first meeting can sometimes be longer. Continuing sessions may be recommended.
Fee for a private is $95 for 1 hour (sliding scale available). Please contact Rebecca if you need help and are unable to pay these fees. Note - There is a 24 hour cancellation policy for all private lessons.
Open Practice
For seasoned students and teachers who want to gather in a collaborative, supportive space to go deeper into practice. Together we will work on groups of asanas, ask questions, share reflections and resources, help assist one another, and get feedback from fellow practitioners and teachers.
